Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding contractual agreement between you (“User,” “you,” or “your”) and VeriqLabs Inc.(“VeriqLabs,” “Profilix,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), governing your access to and use of the Profilix web applications, public portfolio routing engines, ATS resume generators, QR card services, APIs, and associated software (the “Platform”).

By creating an account, connecting third-party credentials (such as GitHub OAuth), claiming a vanity subdomain, or otherwise accessing the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms and our companion Privacy Policy and Refund Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms in their entirety, you must immediately cease accessing the Platform.

You represent and warrant that you are at least thirteen (13) years of age (or sixteen (16) years of age if residing in the European Economic Area). If you are accessing the Platform on behalf of an enterprise, company, or educational institution, you warrant that you possess full authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

Account Security: You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials, password, and session access tokens. You agree to immediately notify our security desk at support@veriqlabs.com of any unauthorized access, compromised credentials, or security incidents.

You Own Your Content: VeriqLabs asserts zeroownership claims over the career data, text, project descriptions, resumes, cover letters, logos, code snippets, or images you upload or input into the Profilix platform (“User Content”). All proprietary rights, copyrights, patents, and trademarks in your User Content remain exclusively with you.

Truthfulness of Professional Credentials: You warrant that all employment experience, academic degrees, certifications, and project authorship claims published via your profile are truthful, accurate, and do not misrepresent your qualifications or infringe upon third-party intellectual property or non-disclosure agreements.

Profilix provides users with the ability to claim personalized handles (profilix.site/u/username) and direct vanity subdomains (subdomain.profilix.site) to showcase public portfolios:

• First-Come, First-Served Allocation: Vanity subdomains and usernames are allocated to registered users on a first-come, first-served availability basis.
• Prohibition on Squatting & Reselling: You may not register, reserve, or hold subdomains for the primary purpose of parking, stockpiling, reselling, or extracting ransom payments from third parties.
• Trademark & Impersonation Protection: You may not claim subdomains that impersonate notable public figures, companies, open-source projects, or registered trademarks you do not legally represent (e.g., google.profilix.site, meta.profilix.site, torvalds.profilix.site).
• Right to Reclaim: VeriqLabs reserves the right, in its sole and reasonable discretion, to reclaim, reassign, or revoke any subdomain or handle that violates trademark rights, infringes intellectual property, promotes fraud, or remains inactive on an unpaid tier for over twelve (12) consecutive months.

Limited Operating License: In order to operate the Platform and display your portfolio across global CDNs, you grant VeriqLabs a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, cache, copy, format, transmit, and display your User Content strictly for the purpose of fulfilling Platform functionality (e.g., rendering your chosen portfolio archetype, compiling your resume PDF/DOCX, and encoding your QR wallpaper).

This license automatically terminates when you delete specific items of User Content or terminate your Profilix account, subject to standard CDN cache invalidation windows.

Profilix Proprietary Rights: All rights, title, and interest in the Profilix platform, including the 42 portfolio template archetypes, resume compilation engines, CSS design systems, source code, logos, trademarks, and documentation, remain the exclusive property of VeriqLabs Inc. and its licensors.

Profilix offers tiered access to its developer workstation, including Free tiers and premium Pro plans (Monthly, Annual, or Lifetime Access Passes):

• Billing & Merchant of Record: All financial transactions are securely processed by authorized payment gateways (Razorpay and Polar.sh), ensuring compliance with international payment regulations, instant invoice issuance, and automated tax handling.
• Recurring Subscriptions & Automatic Renewal: Monthly and Annual Pro plans automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle unless cancelled prior to the renewal date. You can cancel your subscription at any time through your workspace settings with zero cancellation penalties.
• Lifetime Access Pass: A Lifetime Pass grants continuous access to Pro features for the lifetime of the Profilix product, without recurring subscription charges.
• Price Adjustments: We reserve the right to revise pricing for future subscription terms upon giving at least thirty (30) days prior written notice. Price changes will never apply retroactively to an already-purchased period or a Lifetime Pass.

All refund inquiries are governed by our official Refund Policy.

You agree not to misuse the Profilix platform. Prohibited activities include, but are not limited to:

• Phishing & Social Engineering: Hosting deceptive login forms, fake authentication portals, or phishing lures on any profilix.site subdomain.
• Malicious Code & Exploits: Uploading or linking to software containing viruses, worms, trojans, ransomware, or cryptocurrency miners.
• Illegal or Infringing Material: Publishing copyrighted software, trade secrets, defamatory statements, or content violating applicable laws.
• Automated Scraping & Denial of Service: Deploying scrapers, bots, or crawlers that overwhelm our backend APIs or degrade system availability for other engineers.
• AI Quota Abuse: Circumventing rate limits, utilizing automated scripts to generate excessive tokens, or exploiting platform vulnerabilities.

VeriqLabs reserves the right to immediately suspend or permanently terminate any account or subdomain found in violation of this Acceptable Use Policy without prior notice or refund.

The Platform integrates with third-party developer ecosystems to enhance your profile and portfolio experience:

• GitHub API:Profilix syncs with GitHub via their official APIs to display your repositories, commit velocity, and language distribution. Your use of GitHub services remains governed by GitHub's own Terms of Service. Profilix is not affiliated with or endorsed by GitHub Inc.
• Cloudinary CDN: Asset delivery and image transformations are processed through Cloudinary infrastructure.
• Payment Processors: Transactions, memberships, and billing are processed through authorized payment infrastructure (Razorpay and Polar.sh) conforming to PCI-DSS security standards.
• External Portfolio Links: Your portfolio may link to third-party domains, personal websites, and social media platforms. We do not endorse and are not responsible for the availability, content, or practices of external websites.

No Guarantee of Employment: While Profilix is engineered to maximize ATS parser pass rates and recruiter visual engagement through 39 modern portfolio archetypes, VeriqLabs makes no guarantees, warranties, or representations that using Profilix will result in job offers, interview callbacks, salary increases, or employment outcomes.

Algorithmic Assistance: AI-powered bullet suggestions, summaries, and cover letters are generated by statistical language models. You acknowledge that AI outputs may occasionally contain inaccuracies or hallucinations. You are solely responsible for reviewing and verifying all generated text prior to submitting job applications.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED UNDER APPLICABLE LAW, THE PROFILIX PLATFORM IS PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

IN NO EVENT SHALL VERIQLABS INC., ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES (INCLUDING DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF DATA, GOODWILL, WORK STOPPAGE, OR SYSTEM FAILURE) ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR ACCESS TO OR INABILITY TO ACCESS THE PLATFORM.

OUR MAXIMUM AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING UNDER THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF FIFTY UNITED STATES DOLLARS ($50.00 USD) OR THE TOTAL FEES ACTUALLY PAID BY YOU TO PROFILIX IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

Termination by User: You may terminate these Terms at any time by closing your account through your settings panel and discontinuing all use of the Platform.

Termination by VeriqLabs: We may suspend or terminate your access immediately if you breach these Terms, engage in fraud, violate our Acceptable Use Policy, or if we are legally obligated to do so.

Governing Law & Jurisdiction: These Terms and any dispute arising from your use of Profilix shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which VeriqLabs Inc. operates, without regard to principles of conflicts of law.
