The Problem with Exchanging Links
At a bustling tech meetup or a massive hackathon, handing over a physical business card feels outdated. Telling someone your GitHub username ("No wait, it's JohnDashDoe99") is clunky and often forgotten the moment they walk away.
In 2026, networking needs to be frictionless.
The Solution: A Dynamic QR Code
Instead of spelling out a URL, imagine simply pulling out your phone and letting a recruiter scan a QR code. Within ONE second, they have your:
- GitHub Statistics (Commits, Stars, Languages)
- Featured Projects and live links
- A button to download your ATS-friendly resume
- Links to your LinkedIn and Twitter
How to set it up with Profilix
- Sign up for Profilix.
- Connect your GitHub account (this takes 5 seconds).
- Fill out your Bio and link your best projects.
- Go to your Dashboard and click QR Code.
- Save the image to your phone's favorites, or set it as your lock screen during a tech event!
Never lose another networking opportunity to a misspelled URL again.
